The first release includes standard, medium, and rolling tool boxes. Bosch also plans to add drawers, crates, and contractor bags.

The drawers extend fully, so users can reach items at the back. This layout reduces the need to remove tools from the front first.

Steel side rails and threaded inserts provide mounting points for accessories. Users can attach levels, bags, and other equipment.

Bosch also made the platform compatible with older L-BOXX storage. Existing Bosch users can add their current boxes to the new system.

DeWALT Introduces a 30,000-Lumen Balloon Tower Light

DeWALT brought one of the most unusual products in the episode.

The new tower light uses an inflatable balloon to spread light across a wide area. The diffuser creates softer and more consistent coverage than a concentrated beam.

The light produces up to 30,000 lumens at 5,000K. It can illuminate up to 2,500 square feet.

The tower extends to about nine feet. Its height helps spread light across large indoor and outdoor workspaces.

The system uses AC power to support its high output.

The laser also runs on the Cordless Alliance System battery platform. That system allows compatible batteries to work across several participating brands.

STABILA also showed a compact pouch laser with a quick-detach framing base.

The lineup includes full-grain leather uppers, composite safety toes, and puncture-resistant construction. Several models also provide waterproof protection.

Blaklader offers a breathable mesh option for hot conditions and indoor warehouse work.

Some models use a quick-adjustment closure system. Users can tighten or remove the boots without working with traditional laces.

Blaklader injection molds the soles to improve durability. This construction helps prevent the layers from separating over time.

Makita Launches a Fast XGT Rebar Cutter

Makita added a cordless rebar cutter to its 40V XGT platform.

The cutter completes certain cuts in as little as 1.7 seconds. It can also deliver up to 250 cuts per battery charge, depending on the application.

Makita says one blade can complete about 4,000 cuts.

The cutter produces no sparks. That makes it suitable for indoor work and areas with strict safety requirements.

It also leaves a clean end that users can thread after the cut.

Concrete contractors and steel crews could use this tool to reduce cutting time. It may also limit the finishing work required after each cut.

Hilti Adds a Nuron Cordless Table Saw

Hilti expanded its Nuron battery platform with a cordless table saw.

The saw uses a compact, mobile design. Contractors can move it between work areas and set it up quickly.

A folding stand supports fast transport and deployment.

The saw offers about 3.5 inches of cutting depth. It also makes bevel cuts up to 45 degrees.

A rack-style fence helps users make precise adjustments. The table supports rip cuts up to about 26-1/4 inches.

Users can remove the saw from the stand for bench use. They can also connect it to a compatible dust extractor.

Bluetooth connectivity lets the saw activate the vacuum remotely. This feature helps reduce dust during cutting.

Stack Smarter Connects the M18 Table Saw to PACKOUT

Stack Smarter sponsored the episode and introduced two adapter plates for the Milwaukee M18 table saw.

The first plate connects the saw to the top of a PACKOUT unit. This turns the table saw into part of the mobile storage stack.

The second plate mounts on top of the saw. Users can then connect PACKOUT boxes above it.

This setup keeps the heavy saw near the bottom of the stack. It also allows the full system to travel as one unit.

Stack Smarter makes the plates from solid HDPE. The plates use existing factory mounting holes.

During the demonstration, the Milwaukee blade competed against another blade in heavily fastened wood.

The new AX blade completed the cut quickly. Milwaukee says its NITRUS CARBIDE technology improves cutting speed and blade life.

The blade joins other NITRUS CARBIDE accessories in Milwaukee’s lineup.

Longer blade life can reduce interruptions. Faster cuts can also help crews complete demolition work more efficiently.

SPYDER Improves the Hole Saw Experience

SPYDER demonstrated its TCT hole saw and Rapid Core Eject arbor system.

The system solves several common hole saw problems.

A push-button release helps users remove trapped material cores. They can slide the hole saw back instead of prying the material out.

The arbor also helps users begin cuts at steep angles.

Users start the pilot hole, score the material, and slide the cup into place. They can then complete the cut with better control.

SPYDER also created a solution for enlarging existing holes.

Users place a smaller hole saw inside a larger one. The smaller saw guides the new cut through the existing opening.

Electricians, plumbers, remodelers, and installers can use these features to save time on common cutting tasks.

Orcas Introduces an Autonomous Concrete Grinder

The Orcas Hero 900 brought robotics to the World of Concrete show floor.

The autonomous machine scans and maps the work area with LiDAR technology. It then moves through the area and grinds the concrete surface.

The robot uses three grinding heads. Operators can adjust its speed and review its operating data.

The system also tracks the area it has completed.

Safety sensors stop the machine when a person or obstacle enters its path. An automatic cable system manages the power cord during operation.

Orcas showed the Hero 900 in the United States for the first time. The company had not yet announced broad U.S. availability during the episode.

The robot offers an early look at the future of concrete preparation. Automation could reduce repetitive work and help crews cover large areas faster.

Bosch Adds a Cordless Concrete Surface Grinder

Bosch introduced an 18V cordless concrete surface grinder (GBR18V-15SN18X).

The company says the grinder delivers power similar to a 13-amp corded model.

An adjustable handle helps users choose a comfortable working position. A low-profile body also allows the tool to reach under certain edges.

The shroud opens to help users grind close to walls and corners.

The grinder includes three speed settings. It also features kickback control, drop control, and an electronic brake.

A compatible dust extractor captures dust near the grinding point.

This tool gives concrete professionals corded-style performance without a power cable.

MAX USA Updates Its Rebar Tying Technology

MAX USA introduced the RB443T cordless rebar tying tool.

The tool handles several rebar combinations without manual adjustments. Users place the nose over the crossing bars and pull the trigger.

The RB443T can complete up to about 5,000 ties per battery charge.

The system also controls how much wire it uses. It adjusts the wire length based on the size of the rebar.

This feature can reduce waste when compared with older tying tools.

The MAX-RB443T uses two strands of wire to create a strong, low-profile tie.

MAX USA offers several wire options. These include standard, domestic, galvanized, stainless, and epoxy-coated wire.

Rebar tying creates repetitive strain and consumes valuable labor. A cordless tying tool can improve speed and consistency.

DeWALT Enters the Concrete Sprayer Market

DeWALT introduced a cordless backpack chemical sprayer (SPS-190742) for concrete applications.

The system handles thicker and more corrosive chemicals. Concrete crews often use these materials during pouring, curing, and cleanup.

Traditional steel canister sprayers place heavy weight in one hand. The operator must hold the spray wand in the other.

DeWALT moves the tank to the user’s back. This setup improves weight distribution and keeps one hand free for balance.

The battery-powered pump maintains steady pressure. Users do not need to stop and manually pump the tank.

The sprayer delivers up to 150 PSI and 0.9 gallons per minute. It can reach a spray distance of about 37 feet.

DeWALT says one battery can spray up to 70 gallons.

Ten flow settings help users control the output. Six included nozzles support different applications.

DeWALT recommends the sprayer for form oil, curing compound, evaporation retardant, and degreaser.

This sprayer could improve safety and productivity during large concrete projects.
