Welcome to Belts And Boxes! The perfect place for tools and the people who use them.

What exactly is this place?

We know there are many ways to get the job done, but none sweeter than the right tool for the job.

Here at Belts And Boxes, we celebrate tools, and the people who use them to build, break, rebuild and renew their world. That goes for professional tradespeople on the job, and the ambitious hobbyist and homeowner who recognize the importance and power of tools and their proper use.

To accomplish this goal, we’ve created a Youtube network and website, that feature original tool content, all professionally produced and carefully planned to inform, educate, entertain, and inspire.

Here you will find our founding show, the Power Tool Week In Review, where Robert and Sarah round up the very best power tool content on Youtube and Instagram, and present their findings in an engaging and humorous format. The goal is to help promote the world of power tools and the trades, and hopefully encourage more people to try them.

Will there be other shows?

Great question Mom! Thanks for asking. YES!

We are opening our network to other content creators, with the aim to create the greatest tool channel on Youtube, with new original content every day!

Are you making all these new shows?

We’re producing them, but each show will be the original work of the content creator we work with. We can’t go into details just yet, but our current show makers include several high-profile Youtubers and Instagrammers. We’re helping each one produce a professional weekly show with a 8 minute format, each one unique and interesting, but all focused either on tools, or using them to make amazing things!

Can I have my own show on B&B?

That depends. ARE YOU AWESOME? Do you love power tools and building things? Are you a rockstar Maker who just needs a hand getting exposed to the people who love tools and projects?

Well then… sure! We’re currently developing 5 different shows, and have room for many more. If you think you have what it takes to make engaging video content about tools, every week, we want to talk to you about it.

We can offer production support, access to sponsors, and an immediate audience. The best part? You keep any Youtube funds your show produces! And while your show is only on once a week, the rest of us will be helping find you new subscribers with our own shows! We all work extra hard to make great content, and we all grow our audience together!

Sound like something you’d like to do? You can start by emailing us at [email protected] and telling us about your show idea, and link us to anything you’ve already produced.

Hey what happened to Coptool?

Ahhh. You noticed that email address above right? Coptool was how we started. It’s our origin story. We were a tool blog (coptool.com) and Youtube Channel that hosted the first two seasons of the Power Tool Week In Review. When we built our new tool-centric network, we knew we needed a name that made more sense. So on January 1st, 2020, our channel and website became Belts And Boxes.

Coptool remains the name of our production company. No, we’re not cops. Coptool was originally the acronym for Central Ohio Power Tool, which went on to become your favorite online tool retailer, OhioPowerTool.com. That name may not mean much to you, but it means the world to us.

Coptool works directly with Tool Brands to help them promote their products and services through sponsorship of original educational and entertaining video content.

We are Coptool. We produce the Belts And Boxes Network, and several of our own shows on that network. We also work with content creators to help them produce shows of their own.

If you have questions about who we are and what we can do for you as a creator or tool brand, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
