NEW Power Tools from Milwaukee, FLEX, Makita, Kreg, Wiha, RYOBI and more!
This week’s episode of The Tool Show was packed with major announcements from Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, Kreg, Wiha, and FLEX, plus a special Platinum Tool Deal from Ohio Power Tool that’s too good to miss. From cordless vacuum pumps and hybrid propane heaters to next-gen impact drivers and finish nailers, this week proves that tool innovation isn’t slowing down as we head into Q4.
Makita DVP181ZK 18V LXT Cordless Vacuum Pump
Makita’s new DVP181ZK brings serious HVAC performance into a cordless setup. This dual-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump achieves a rapid deep vacuum up to 3 Pascals and delivers up to 113 L/min (4 CFM). It can run on a single 18V LXT battery, but dual battery ports extend runtime to around 50 minutes on two 5.0Ah packs.
Built with a brushless motor for quiet, maintenance-free operation, the DVP181ZK is ideal for HVAC professionals needing deep vacuum capability without the bulk of traditional corded units. The LED battery indicator, compact design, and easy oil drain port make this one of the most user-friendly cordless vacuum pumps Makita has ever released.
Wiha Terminator Blue Impact Bit Sets
Wiha just introduced three new Terminator Blue Impact Bit Sets, housed in modular “ghost stack” cases that lock together for easy organization.
Each bit features TST (Torsion Stabilizing Technology) and precision heat treatment, offering up to 120x longer life than standard bits. Made from CVM premium tool steel, these impact-rated bits are designed for maximum durability and reduced cam-out.
Options include:
- 24-Piece Standard Set (Phillips, Square, Torx)
- 36-Piece Expanded Set with Short Bits and Magnetic Holder
- 24-Piece Nut Setter Set with socket adapter
Pricing ranges from $29.98–$35.98.
Ryobi 18V One+ HP Hybrid Propane Heater

This hybrid model runs on any Ryobi One+ battery or can plug in for continuous operation. It features a variable heat control dial, electronic ignition, and a 15-ft propane hose with regulator. The durable steel frame and integrated carry handle make this heater both portable and rugged.
Expect it to hit shelves at $229 (bare tool) this month at The Home Depot.
