Fall brings a wave of new power tool releases from Milwaukee, Bosch, Harbor Freight, SKIL, and Fireball Tool plus another Platinum Tool Deal from Ohio Power Tool. Bosch Drops Compact Power with the GRC18V and GSD4V35
Bosch kicked off the season with two new compact tools.
The GRC18V Ratcheting Wrench delivers 60 Nm of torque, a 3/8″ square drive, and a three-speed paddle trigger. Its slim design makes it ideal for tight spaces like engine bays or metalwork setups. It’s already appearing online for preorder at $179 bare tool.
Bosch also released the GSD4V35 Rechargeable Screwdriver, weighing under one pound. You can activate it by pressing the button or by pushing it against your work surface. It includes eight clutch settings for precision, a USB-C charger, and an LED light that doubles as a flashlight. It’s available for $69 and perfect for small repairs or assembly work.
SKIL Expands PowerCore 20 and 12 Lines
SKIL added two brushless options to their lineup.
The AG2990B 20V Brushless Angle Grinder hits 10,000 RPM and features tool-free guard adjustments. It offers restart, overload, and heat protection, plus onboard wrench storage and a three-position side handle. The kit includes a 2.0 Ah battery for just $99.
For compact work, the RW5763A11 12V Ratchet Wrench delivers 55 ft-lbs of torque and up to 220 RPM. It features a low-profile head, LED lighting, and a pin detent anvil for secure socket holds. At only 2.95 lbs, it’s light and maneuverable, great for engine bays or assembly lines.
Harbor Freight’s New BOWER Pressure Washer
Harbor Freight’s Bower 1,800 PSI Portable Electric Pressure Washer (model 70139) is aimed at homeowners. It’s powered by a 13 amp motor with a 1.2 GPM flow rate. It includes three quick-connect nozzles, a 20-foot hose, and a 35-foot GFCI cord for added safety.
This $99.99 washer is compact, easy to move, and perfect for patios, decks, or bikes.
Milwaukee Introduces SDS-Max Side-Load Ground Rod Driver
Milwaukee’s upcoming SDS-Max Side-Load Ground Rod Driver makes ground rod installation safer and faster. It eliminates the need for overhead ladder work by allowing ground-level operation. The driver grips rods securely without damaging threads or bending material.
It works with ½″, ⅝″, and ¾″ rods and is best used with SDS-Max demolition hammers rated at 17 ft-lbs or 23 joules of impact energy. Expect it in March 2025, pricing to be announced.
Fireball Tool’s Stainless Miter Squares Sell Out Fast
Fireball Tool just launched laser-engraved stainless steel miter squares designed for marking 22.5°, 45°, and 90° angles on tubing. Each three-pack includes 5″, 8″, and 10″ versions. They’re engraved on both sides for quick inside or outside measurements.
The set sold out within days at $32, but fans can join the waitlist on FireballTool.com for restock updates.
MRCOOL DIY Mini-Split Delivers Comfort and Savings
