NEW Power Tools from Milwaukee, DeWALT, EGO, RYOBI and more!

If you’re a pro who relies on durability, runtime and productivity on the job site, you’ll want to pay close attention to the newest releases from the big names. We walk through announcements from DeWALT, Milwaukee Tool, EGO and RYOBI. These launches signal the next evolution of cordless, professional-grade tools and outdoor power equipment.

DeWALT 60V FLEXVOLT Arbor & Tree-Care Tools

DeWALT launched two 60 V FLEXVOLT top-handle chainsaws: the 14″ model (DW-DCCS674X2) and the 12″ model (DW-DCCS673X1). The 14″ version delivers 2.42 peak horsepower, chain speed of 23 m/s, and cuts claimed to be 35% faster than a 35 cc gas saw. It also boasts up to 160 cuts per charge on a 9 Ah battery. The 12″ model, interestingly, is more powerful (3.42 peak horsepower) and is 22% more compact.
For tree-work pros this means cordless is increasingly viable. No gas mixing, fewer stoppages, less maintenance. The gear-case is cast magnesium, with tool-connect built in, adjustable oiler, LED dashboard and D-ring harness attachment for rigging.

On the pole-saw side DeWALT also announced a fixed-shaft model (95″ reach) and a telescoping model (extends to 160″, over 13 feet of reach). The telescoping kit is already available ($989 with a 15 Ah battery and charger).
If you’re in arborist/tree-care work, these bring serious cordless performance, higher power, longer runtime, and professional-grade build. If you service crews that use chainsaws or pole-saws, these are serious options to consider for your catalogue.

Milwaukee M12 AutoShot Borescope with Wi-Fi File Sharing

Milwaukee’s new M12 AutoShot Borescope (3151-21) is a standout for inspection, mechanical service and diagnostics.

  • 5.5″ HD touchscreen with anti-glare, zoom/pinch, rotation, annotations (draw arrows, text, audio notes)
  • Wi-Fi file sharing from the tool to a service manager or customer, no PC or smartphone download steps
  • Compact 5 mm camera head with dual front & side-view cameras on a 5-ft flexible cable
  • Heat-sense temperature alert, automatic shutdown to protect cable
  • Launching Nov 2025, MSRP, $1,499 (kit with CP2.0 battery, charger, 32 GB SD card, case)

For service techs, mechanical contractors, those doing heavy equipment diagnostics or plumbing/HVAC systems, this tool elevates inspection productivity. Instead of shoot-and-email from a separate phone, you do it direct. It fits neatly into your advanced-tool offering for premium-hour work.

EGO Commercial – Big Battery Power for Pros

At the EQUIP Expo 2025 in Louisville, EGO’s commercial segment rolled out a whole lineup of serious gear:

  • Backpack blower (1,100 CFM) with about 2 hours runtime on two 10 Ah batteries; handheld 1,000 CFM version also highlighted.
  • A 40 Ah battery pack for riding & stand-on commercial mowers, with claims: 4 batteries = mow 12 acres, and the mower weighs, 100 lbs less than comparable gas units.
  • Other gear: portable power station, inflator + magnetic light, misting fan (bucket mount + app control)

Battery-driven OPE isn’t just homeowner junk anymore, EGO is clearly going full commercial. If you sell to landscaping contractors, grounds crews, municipal maintenance, this is a huge opportunity.

RYOBI 40 V HP Self-Propelled Mowers

RYOBI announced two new self-propelled mowers in their 40 V HP lineup: the LMO7 (single-blade) and LM8 (multi-blade cross-cut system). Highlights:

  • 20″ deck; self-propelled rear-wheel drive; height adjust 1″ to 4″
  • LMO7: up to 45 minutes runtime on a 6 Ah battery (½ acre)
  • LM8: multi-blade system yields finer clippings, less clumping when mulching, better bagging efficiency (+75% vs competition) and 55 minutes runtime with 8 Ah battery
  • Coming December: LMO7 kit $459 (6 Ah battery), LM8 kit $499 (8 Ah battery)

For residential landscapers or contractors offering homeowner service, these are compelling. A cordless mower that performs like gas is an easier upsell.
