SESEMA 2025 did not come to play. Sarah and Rob hit the floor and filled a highlight reel from wall to wall. They found grinders with wild new head geometry, a pro polisher that ramps itself, storage systems that actually solve garage chaos, hand-sharpened punches and chisels, next-gen welders, extended-reach ratchets, and a floor vise so massive it may as well be the floor. Harbor Freight Hercules Flathead Grinder
The new flathead design slides into tight, angled spaces where standard grinders can’t reach. It also runs variable speeds from 3,000 to 11,000 RPM for metal, stone, and granite cutouts.
Mirka POLAROS RP 600X Orbital Polisher
Mirka’s POLAROS RP 600X uses Ramp-Up Technology to increase power smoothly as you load the pad. This keeps sling down and control up. LED over-pressure indicators and Bluetooth monitoring track vibration and RPM in real time.
At just 3½ pounds, it runs quiet, feels balanced, and includes a 2-year warranty (extendable to 3 years if you register within 30 days). It lists at $800 through Mirka distributors.
VIM Tools Magnetic Socket Rails
These were the lowest-profile, strongest mag rails on the floor. They measure about 0.2 inches thick and 1 inch wide, and use a patented polarity system that prevents tool magnetization.
They come in four lengths, seven colors, and they hold a ¾-inch socket vertically. The pegs act as identifiers, not the main retention method.
Fireball Tool 208 Floor Vise
Jason went all-in with the 208 Floor Vise. It weighs 1,800 pounds, uses a 30-inch throat and 20-inch jaws, and comes cast from a single piece of ductile iron.
A 3-inch pivot pin, 22-inch handwheel, and offset jaws give it huge clamping flexibility. Accessory ports accept air or hydraulic actuation. Production begins in 2026, and Jason insists it will stay “affordable and obtainable” for real shops. With its vintage-inspired styling and sheer presence, it’s built as both a tool and a legacy piece.
EGO 765 CFM Handheld Blower
(EGO-LB7650)
EGO’s blower pushes up to 765 CFM with Turbo Boost, plus a variable 260-580 CFM range and nearly 200 MPH airspeed. The high-efficiency brushless motor runs up to 90 minutes on the included 5.0Ah 56V ARC battery.
It’s weather-resistant, comfortable, and ships with tapered and spread nozzles. It also works across EGO’s full 56V lineup.
FLEX Track-Lock Wall Organization
FLEX launched a full modular wall system that snaps accessories into wall-mounted rails. It pairs cleanly with Stack Pack setups and supports tools, ladders, bikes (up to 75 lbs), and full detailing layouts.
Over 30 SKUs land in the system. Install one stud anchor, then lock sections together. Pre-orders are open now with shipping slated for March 2026.
FLEX 5-3/8″ Cold-Cut Metal Saw

FLEX’s new cold-cut metal saw cuts fast, smooth, and clean. Its ceramic-coated blade stays cool and produces a near-mirror finish. A metal-lined chip collection system captures debris and stands up to heat.
Even with all that strength, the saw stays lightweight and balanced. FLEX’s 3.5Ah Stacked Lithium battery keeps it running strong. It’s available now, and everyone who tried it walked away smiling.
Knipex Punches & Chisels
Knipex entered the punch and chisel game with 22-part numbers across seven sets. Built in partnership with Rennsteig, every tool is fully heat-treated and hand-sharpened for a splinter-free finish.
Roll-pin punches use true imperial sizing. Each set allows replacement of individual pieces instead of buying a full kit. Knipex also stresses using the right tool sequence, starter, taper, then pin, to save time and extend tool life. The lineup is competitively priced and available now.
Milwaukee PACKOUT Rack Transit Storage

Milwaukee finally released its long-awaited PACKOUT Rack Transit Storage System. Every cabinet uses fully sliding drawers, so you can grab organizers, drawers, or small bins without unstacking anything.
You can adjust drawer heights, stack cabinets three high, or mount them on a wall or in a vehicle. It’s fully PACKOUT compatible and shipping now.
Harbor Freight ICON Gen 2 Toolboxes
ICON Gen 2 toolboxes jump from 25 inches to true 30-inch pro depth. They use a pull-forward latching system with corner-activated tabs for smoother opening and self-closing drawers to eliminate bounce.
Inside, drawers run taller and more efficient, including a corner pliers drawer and modular parts organizers. A full-length charging drawer includes USB-C ports. The deep drawer below it fits drills and impacts easily.
Gen 2 launches in red, blue, black, green, and a new slate gray. Harbor Freight is collecting feedback as they finalize matching hutches, lockers, and overhead cabinets.
Wiha TorqueVario Insulated Torque Screwdrivers
(WIHA-28789)
Wiha brought serious precision to SEMA. Their TorqueVario insulated torque screwdrivers deliver exact torque through an adjustable window dial. A torque key protects the internal mechanism.
Each tool is individually tested in a 10,000-volt cold water bath and backed by VDE certification and a lifetime guarantee. Wiha calibrates every tool at the factory (DIN ISO), and it’s warrantied for 1,000 clicks or one year before recalibration.
These screwdrivers connect to Wiha’s 70+ insulated tips and adapters, giving electricians and EV techs confidence even on live systems.
Milwaukee M12 Extended-Reach Ratchets
Milwaukee expanded its M12 FUEL line with new Extended Anvil Ratchets. They use the same outer-rotor brushless motor from PIPELINE, 20% smaller but still fast and strong. 1/2″ Ratchet (3054-20) – 3/8″ Ratchet (3053-20) and 1/4″ Ratchet (3052-20)
The extended body gives you reach into tight spots: deep engine bays, behind timing covers, and around bell housings. Each ratchet ships with a button and paddle trigger. A modular trigger cap kit lets you fine-tune the feel. Milwaukee continues to shrink tools while growing capability.
