It’s finally here. The most disruptive tool in the MX lineup, the Milwaukee MX FUEL Carry-ON 3600W Power Supply. We finally have a delivery date and pricing. Let’s go!
A YEAR ago, Milwaukee announced the new MX FUEL battery platform that consisted of light-duty jobsite equipment including a 14” cut off saw, a huge core drill, and even a jackhammer. But the one item that gathered more attention than anything else, was this. The Milwaukee MX Fuel Carry-ON Power Supply.
Portable power has never been this silent before. And with 3600 peak watts and 1800 running watts of pure sine wave energy, this monster will power everything from your phone, to high demand 15A tools. Imagine plugging in things like a microwave, or a jobsite table saw. And once you have a few other tools on the job that use the MX FUEL batteries, it all begins to make even more sense.
Milwaukee is hoping the Carry-On will replace noisy, dirty, hazardous gas generators both indoor and out. And when you control your own personal power source, you don’t need to worry about tripped breakers, extension cords, or voltage drops you often find with shared power sources such as spider boxes.
The Carry-On is designed to support 1 15A tool, plus 1 lower wattage device at the same time. And of course the possibilities of something in between are endless. You can either run it with a single MX FUEL Battery, or click on 2 for double the run time.
And of course it will come equipped with ONE-KEY, providing the ability to track the power supply with community tracking and alerts, include it in your inventory management, and more.
The first kit available will include the MX FUEL CARRY-ON Power Supply, two MX FUEL Redlithium XC406 battery packs and a Detachable Charger Cord. All for the starting price of $2,199. Not cheap, but if the power isn’t on, you can’t get your work done. With the MX FUEL Carry-on, Milwaukee is promising the power will always be on, whenever you need it.
You can get yours in February 2021.
