Milwaukee Tools just announced a bunch of new tools. Some were previously revealed during PIPELINE, like the new M18 Rover Light, some upgrades to their safety glasses line, and MORE!
NEW M18 ROVER Flood Light
First up Milwaukee’s new M18 Rover Dual Power Flood Light. This updated model features a 33% bump in light, now boasting 4000 lumens of trueview high definition light output. It has 3 different lighting modes, and runs for up to 12 hours at a time. Of course if you have access to an outlet, you have the option to plug it in. The light head rotates 120 degrees making it not only bright, but flexible enough to adapt to any jobsite. Best of all, this power house is super small, easily fitting in tool bags, carts or job boxes. And with it’s IP54 rating, it’s durable too. You can get yours in January 2021.
NEW Safety Glasses
Next, Milwaukee expanded it’s already popular line of safety glasses, including Anti-scratch, fog-free, and new magnification and lens color options. The Anti-scratch version have a hard coating making them… wait for it… difficult to scratch. The Magnifying glasses make it easier for users to read, available in magnifications between +1 and +3 diopter. The fog-free glasses are free of something. Can’t tell what. And the Performance safety glasses now come in yellow and grey lenses. All of the new glasses will be available in January 2021 as well.
NEW PACKOUT with Racking
The new Packout racks are finally on their way. These e-track solutions include a single shelf, or a kit that will include 2 shelves and two 20” lengths of vertical e-track. The highlight of these solutions is the ability to customize the packout shelving in either your shop or work truck, making it easy to get into the packout boxes while mounted, which is a pretty big deal to anyone who uses Packout on the daily. The new Racking shelves will be here in February 2021.
NEW Ear Plugs
Milwaukee also announced the new Banded Ear Plugs, which are ear plugs, held together with a band type object. The design can be worn three different ways, including above the head, below the chin behind the neck, or back on the table where you left them. They come with interchangeable foam and flanged Ear Plugs, both designed to protect users against hazardous jobsite noise.
NEW M18 Brushless String Trimmer
And Finally, Milwaukee disappointed a lot of fans this Fall, buy failing to announce any new OPE tools during Pipeline, besides the 6” pruning saw. Now, a month later, they suddenly announce a new M18 Brushless String Trimmer. This guy is designed to be an ideal supplemental tool to the professional landscaping crews gas units. It’ll speed up to 6200 rpm, controlled with a variable speed trigger, and features a 14 to 16” swath. This guy isn’t quite as powerful as the M18 FUEL string trimmer with quik-lok, but it should cost significantly less as well. The new Milwaukee M18 Brushless String Trimmer will be available next month, January 2021.
