We recently had an opportunity to demo the Metabo S-automatic safety slip clutch in action which is the standard on all their new grinders. We first used the “other guys” grinder, then the Metabo, it’s pretty clear the Metabo grinders are going to limit the amount of shrapnel which can occur if a cutting wheel gets jammed up.
