A Tour of the Latest Tools at NECA 2023
Klein Tools’ Innovative ModBox
We kicked off our tour at the Klein Tools booth, where the star of the show was their ModBox mobile workstation. This tool station has the largest wheels in the industry, making it easier to navigate unfinished job sites. It also offers excellent storage space for tools and other essentials, including benders and fish sticks. The ModBox is perfect for professionals who need to keep their tools organized and accessible.
One standout feature? The removable handle. This feature allows the ModBox to fit into tight spaces, like an Uber ride! It’s a perfect example of Klein’s commitment to practical design.
Klein’s New Made in the USA Tools
Klein Tools is also doubling down on their Made in the USA products. They’ve been manufacturing tools in the U.S. for over 160 years, and now, they’re bringing new hand tools, safety equipment, and even knee sleeves to the table. These knee sleeves are a game-changer, offering slim and comfortable protection without the bulk of traditional knee pads. It’s clear that Klein is focused on both innovation and worker safety.
Veto Pro Pac’s New Tool Bag
Next up, we stopped by the Veto Pro Pac booth to check out their new MB 5B Tool Bag. This backpack version of the popular TP XXL tool bag is packed with features. It has removable straps, two-meter pockets for tools, and a five-year warranty. If you need a high-quality tool bag, Veto Pro Pac has you covered.
Knipex’s New Pliers for Electricians
At the Knipex booth, we got our hands on some impressive new tools for electricians. Their Needle Nose Combination Pliers now come in a larger size, allowing for even more versatility on the job. These pliers can cut, loop, and tighten wire with ease. Knipex also showcased their Twin Grip pliers with push-button technology, making tool adjustments faster and easier than ever before.
DeWalt’s Hydraulic Knockout Tool
We couldn’t miss DeWalt’s booth, where they were showing off their impressive DCE600 Hydraulic Knockout Tool. With an 11-ton force output, this tool can handle up to 10-gauge mild steel and 12-gauge stainless steel. The best part? It’s made right here in the USA! The DeWalt team also shared some exciting features, including LED illumination and threadless punches to make the job faster and more efficient.
