The Milwaukee PIPELINE event has started, and they just announce the ALL NEW Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1” Standard and Extended Anvil High Torque Impact Wrenchs. Again.

THIS is the M18 FUEL 1” D-Handle Standard Anvil High Torque Impact Wrench, which yeah, we featured a couple months back. But at the very bottom of that press release was this guy. THIS, is the M18 FUEL 1” D-Handle Extended Anvil High Torque Impact wrench, which is specifically tuned to tear off Commercial Lug Nuts. In other words, not those itty bitty nuts on your ‘97 Camry, but we’re talking about the HUGE nuts the diesel technicians have to work with on big boy trucks.

Now both versions of this 1” D-Handle are blessed with the Milwaukee holy trinity of POWERSTATE brushless motors, REDLITHIUM battery packs and REDLINK PLUS Intelligence, which is why you see the word FUEL in their names. Both feature an un-nerving 1,900 ft-lbs of fastening torque and a hard-to-fathom 2,000 ft-lbs of Nut Busting torque.

Simply put, these are the world’s most powerful cordless impact wrenches. So what’s the difference? Well the new Extended Anvil version features the exclusive Lug Nut Mode, which when enabled, prevents the risk of over-torqueing commercial lug nuts. I hate it when I over-torque my commercial lug nuts, so you know which one I’m holding out for.

The Standard anvil version is available right now at OhioPowerTool.com for $800 as a bare tool, and $1,300 for the kit. The extended anvil version will be available in October 2020, but pricing is not yet available.
