You NEED an 8ft Snowflake made with 2x4s. Here is how Sarah made one for our front yard! S2E02
This week we decided to build a wooden snowflake, then a bigger one, and then a BIGGER one! Turns out you can make’em pretty big! It’s time for a Maker Break!
So we like to make stuff together. As long as it’s something cool like a workbench or a French Cleat Tool Wall, or a giant wooden snowflake! This week we made three different size snowflakes with the final one standing around 8ft tall! It was no joke. You can find the entire skit, I mean project in the video above.

First up is from Steve Carmichael, who uses his scroll saw to make this replica road signs. I has no idea I needed this in my life, but I DO. I need to make all the signs. Just need to get a scroll saw first.
Our second pick is from Anne of All Trades. If you don’t know Anne, you should. She’s a really talented woodworker, and one of the most passionate makers I’ve ever found. She’s been putting everything she has into building a craft school on her new property in Tennessee, and 2020 has been full of set backs. To help her get back on track she’s now offering a ton of awesome online classes that I think all of you should go check out. Not only will you learn something, but you can help another maker at the same time.
