PROS are buying THESE Milwaukee Tools!

Every year, dozens of new tools hit the market. Some get hyped. Some get ignored. But the real question is this: what are pros actually spending their money on?

In this week’s tool show, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the most popular Milwaukee tools of 2025, straight from the sales data at Ohio Power Tool. And the results? A few were obvious. One made zero sense at first… until the truth came out.

Along the way, we also saw a new Harbor Freight pneumatic cutter, a multi-position ladder that’s built for serious capacity, and a hands-on demo of DeWalt’s new 20V MAX water transfer pump. But the real spotlight was on Milwaukee, and what working tradespeople truly bought.

The #5 Most Popular Milwaukee Tool: M18 FUEL Deep Cut Band Saw (2929-20)

Coming in at number five is a jobsite favorite: the M18 FUEL Deep Cut Band Saw. This tool continues to dominate because it balances portability with serious cutting capacity. It delivers up to 550 surface feet per minute, handles 5” x 5” material, and includes an automatic blade brake for added safety.

Pros love it because it cuts cleanly without sparks, which makes it ideal for indoor work, finished spaces, and jobs where grinders would be overkill. It’s also one of those tools that earns its place on the truck fast, especially for electricians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors.

#4: M18 FUEL Gen 3 High Torque Impact Wrench (2967-20)

Next up is the Gen 3 M18 FUEL High Torque Impact Wrench, and this one is all about raw performance. With up to 1,200 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque, it competes with, and often beats, larger, heavier high torque impacts.

Milwaukee also made it shorter and more compact than previous generations, which makes a huge difference when working in tight engine bays or cramped structural spaces. Add in features like bolt removal mode and auto shut-off control, and it’s easy to see why this stayed in constant demand all year.

#3: PACKOUT Rolling Deep Drawer Tool Box (48-22-8420)

Storage made the list too. The PACKOUT Rolling Deep Drawer Tool Box quickly became one of the hardest items to keep in stock. Instead of a traditional flip-top lid, this design gives you a full-depth sliding drawer, which means easier access when it’s stacked with other PACKOUT boxes.

With a 250 lb weight capacity and a collapsible handle, this box bridges the gap between jobsite durability and real organization. For many pros, this is the PACKOUT piece they’ve been waiting for.

#2: M18 FUEL 7-Tool Combo Kit (3697-27)

This was the big surprise. A massive 7-tool combo kit landed in the number two spot. At first, that seems more like a homeowner purchase, right? Not exactly.

According to the team at Ohio Power Tool, many of these are purchased on company cards. When crews need to outfit a van fast or replace multiple tools at once, a bundled kit suddenly makes a lot of sense. It’s a fast way to refresh an entire setup with current-generation M18 FUEL tools in one shot.

#1: M18 FUEL 2-Tool Combo Kit (3697-22)

This one made perfect sense. The best-selling Milwaukee tool setup of the year was the M18 FUEL Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Kit.

It includes the 2904 Hammer Drill and 2953 Impact Driver, plus batteries, charger, and case. This is Milwaukee’s core combo for contractors across nearly every trade. Whether someone is entering the M18 platform or upgrading older brushed tools, this kit is the go-to starting point.

The Milwaukee Batteries Pros Bought Most

Tools may grab attention, but batteries drive the platform. Here’s how Milwaukee battery sales stacked up.

The M18 XC 5.0Ah battery (48-11-1850) landed in third place because it hits the sweet spot between size, weight, and runtime. It works well on nearly everything without making tools feel bulky.

Second place went to a two-pack version of the same 5.0Ah battery (48-11-1852), which makes sense for crews running multiple tools daily.

The top battery of the year was the M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 (48-11-1881). This newer battery delivers power comparable to larger packs while staying more compact. It’s also COOL-CYCLE compatible, meaning it can charge to 80% in as little as 35 minutes on Milwaukee’s active cooling chargers. For pros who can’t afford downtime, that charging speed is a game changer.

New Tools Also Featured in the Show

Beyond Milwaukee’s top sellers, the episode also covered several new tools worth watching.

Harbor Freight introduced the McGraw 3” Extended Air Cut-Off Tool, a budget-friendly pneumatic cutter with a 5” extension for better reach in tight spaces.

We also saw the Franklin 22 ft Reach Multi-Task Ladder, a multi-position ladder with 31 configurations and a 375 lb capacity, aimed directly at heavy-duty jobsite use.

Finally, the team tested the DeWalt 20V MAX Transfer Pump (DW-DCE050B) bare tool and (DW-DCE050P1) kit. Designed for water transfer and jobsite drainage, it can move up to 4.5 gallons per minute and lift water impressive vertical distances. Real-world testing showed it’s more than capable for emergency water removal, plumbing work, and site cleanup.

New tool releases are exciting, but sales data tells the real story. In 2025, pros leaned into high-performance core tools, modular storage, and battery upgrades that reduce downtime. Combo kits dominated because they offer fast, practical solutions for crews who just need to get back to work.

If you’re wondering which Milwaukee tools are truly worth investing in, this list is a great place to start, because it’s built on what real tradespeople actually chose to buy.
