NEW POWER TOOLS from Milwaukee, Harbor Freight, and SKIL!
In this week’s episode, Rob and Sarah head to OhioPowerTool to try the new MilwaukeeTool M12 75′ Drain Camera before its May launch.
Tools We’re Covering This Week
Harbor Freight’s Predator Solar Panels
A couple of weeks ago, Sarah and I tested the Predator 200W solar panels. We got a sneak peek with the new Predator power station, and they exceeded our expectations. On a cold Ohio day, we went from 43% to 100% power in just 90 minutes using four panels, generating up to 775 watts. They finally arrived at our local store for just $229 each, much cheaper than competitors like Jackery, which sells their 200W panels for $469. In summary, these panels will be perfect for anyone wanting portable power when traveling.
SKIL’s New Compact Workbench
SKIL recently released a folding workbench. It comes in two parts: the work surface and the stand. Notably, the stand is light and strong and can connect to a miter saw or table saw. The workbench itself doubles as a vice, allowing you to clamp materials using hand cranks. Additionally, it has rulers and a protractor, and it holds up to 550 lbs. At just $129, it’s an excellent addition to any workshop.
Flex Rotary Polisher
Flex has added polishers to its growing 24V pro tool lineup. We got our hands on the rotary model, the FX3311. It has 20% more power, 25% longer runtime, and faster charging. Moreover, the ergonomic design makes it comfortable for long use. At $699 for the kit with two 5Ah batteries or $569 bare, this is a top-notch tool for buffing and polishing vehicles.
Milwaukee M12 75′ Drain Camera
Milwaukee is launching a new drain camera in May the Milwaukee Tools M12 75′ Drain Camera w/ PACKOUT Compatibility. We got an early look at it with Ohio Power Tool. This camera fits perfectly into Milwaukee’s Packout system and is designed for pipes between 1 ½” and 4″ in diameter. It’s compact, lightweight, and features an HD camera. In addition, it’s ideal for plumbers who want to quickly inspect pipes and drainage systems. Expected to cost around $1,500, this tool will be a game-changer for professionals.
Graco Evo Plus Paint Sprayer
We’ve tried several Graco sprayers, and this one impressed us the most. The Evo Plus is an HVLP (High Volume, Low Pressure) sprayer, delivering a finer, more controlled spray. It’s perfect for DIYers tackling household projects. What’s more, it’s easy to clean and works with four different nozzles. At just $169, it’s a great choice for small interior and exterior jobs.
Tool Show Highlights
Each week, Sarah and I give away a tool package worth about $500 to a random channel member. This week, Ryan from Just Another Carpenter won an awesome prize, including tools from Ryobi, a tool show jacket, and a $50 Ohio Power Tool gift card. Congratulations, Ryan!
