NEW Tools from Milwaukee, RIDGID, RYOBI, and Greenworks!

Welcome back, tool fans! We’ve got some seriously exciting updates from your favorite brands like Milwaukee, RIDGID, RYOBI, Greenworks, and more. If you’ve been wondering what 2024 has in store for the power tool world, the answer is plenty of new gear that’s bound to impress!

RIDGID’s New Tools: Faster, Lighter, and More Efficient

First up, RIDGID is kicking off the year with an all-new 18V Brushless 16-Gauge Straight Finish Nailer. This tool is perfect for trim work, crown molding, and even staircase treads. What sets it apart is its impressive speed—it can drive nails 35% faster than the previous model, and it’s 15% lighter and 10% more compact. With a new CleanDrive Technology, it ensures clean drives at any angle, and it’s less likely to jam. You can grab this bad boy for $269 (bare tool) or $319 with a 2Ah battery at Home Depot.

RIDGID didn’t stop there. They also released a brushless hybrid 18-inch drum fan. It delivers up to 4,000 CFM, that’s four times more air than its predecessor, while staying super quiet at just 55 dB. This fan runs for up to 15 hours on low with a 12Ah battery and will be available for $199 next month.

And we can’t forget about RIDGID’s new OnePlus 18V LED Workbench Light. This portable, versatile light has pivoting LED panels that rotate 360°, putting out a bright 1,700 lumens. It’s available for $69 in February, perfect for a workshop upgrade.

RYOBI’s Power Play

RYOBI is also making waves this year with a unique set of tools. First, they introduced a bucket-top wet/dry vac that fits most 5-gallon buckets, and while they didn’t reveal the specific CFM or lift ratings, they’re promising it to be the most powerful in its class. Expect it to retail for $59 bare or $111.99 with a 4Ah battery.

They’ve also launched a 38-in drill for just $59, which is light, powerful, and an affordable entry for DIYers. Plus, their new OnePlus LED Workbench Light is another innovation that gives off plenty of light for a long time with 16-hour runtime on a 6Ah battery.

Milwaukee: A Powerhouse of New Tools

Milwaukee is always pushing the boundaries, and they’re starting 2024 with a bang. Some of their new products include the M18 Brushless 18-Inch Fan (0821-20), which offers up to 13.5 MPH of air circulation with 5 hours of runtime on a high-speed setting. It’s durable, resistant to water, dust, and impact, and priced at $249.99.

They also launched new hand tools like the 1,000V Insulated Hand Tools for electricians, including linemen’s pliers, cutting pliers, and precision screwdrivers. These tools are built for safety and durability, making them a must-have for any pro.

Another intriguing addition is the Milwaukee 6 ½-inch Pipe Lock Billet Torpedo Level (48-22-5110), which comes out next month for $32.97. It’s part of Milwaukee’s huge push for new releases, which in 2023 saw a jaw-dropping 551 new tools.

Greenworks Goes Big at CES 2024

Greenworks made waves at CES 2024 with their exciting new battery-powered equipment. From new zero-turn mowers (including a 60-volt 54-inch Maximus Zero Turn Mower) to a 60V 21-inch self-propelled mower, they’re focusing heavily on consumer and commercial landscapers. With a 60V Pro 780 CFM blower and a 60V 18-inch chainsaw, Greenworks is solidifying its place as a top competitor in outdoor power tools.

Their residential powerhub allows homeowners to manage and store energy from solar setups, adding an eco-friendly angle to their tools. Expect to see these products available this year, with a wide range of solutions for both residential and commercial needs.
