Welcome to this week’s episode of The Tool Show! We’re bringing you the latest tool announcements, exciting giveaways, and all the tools you’ll need for your next big project. From new products by Bosch, Milwaukee, Ryobi, DeWALT, and Makita, to some must-have tools and some hilarious tool reviews, this show is packed with everything a pro or DIYer could ask for.
Bosch’s Groundbreaking New Tools
First up, Bosch impressed us at the World of Concrete with some exciting new releases. Their Pro Factor 18V portable table saw caught everyone’s eye. It’s powered by Bosch’s Power Core batteries and their Bi-Turbo brushless motor, delivering a powerful 5500 RPM. The saw weighs just 44 pounds, making it super portable, and it includes safety features like modular blade guards and anti-kickback paws. This one’s a game-changer for anyone who needs a lightweight yet powerful saw on the job!
Additionally, Bosch launched a new 18V reciprocating saw with orbital mode and vibration control, ideal for fast cutting and tough jobs. They also rolled out the 6-inch X-Lock angle grinder with a paddle switch—no cords, no hassle. Performance equivalent to a 13-amp grinder with easy blade changes.
Ryobi Responds to the Tractor-Style Mower Demand
Ryobi also made waves with their release of two new 80V mower models that cater to those who wanted something bigger than their initial 80V mowers. These new models come in 42-inch and 46-inch deck sizes, boasting steel decks, powerful motors, and a 500-pound towing capacity. Whether you’re cutting grass or hauling tools, these mowers have you covered.
And if you’re looking for something a little more manageable, Ryobi’s new 80V HP Whisper Series 30-inch self-propelled mower is designed for commercial use, with impressive cutting capabilities and 90 minutes of runtime on a 10Ah battery.
Milwaukee Brings Innovation with Their M18 Fuel Tools
Milwaukee has been busy, too! Their M18 Fuel High-Speed Chain Snake is here to provide a portable, powerful drain-clearing solution. It can tackle clogs up to 4 inches in diameter and features 75 feet of cable, making it an essential tool for plumbers and maintenance professionals. Plus, the Milwaukee pipeline inspection system just got an upgrade with a 100-foot flexible reel and a 1080p camera that can even stream live photos and videos. Coming soon in March for around $4,229.
Ridgid Delivers New Hybrid Job Site Radio
Ridgid unveiled their 18V hybrid job site radio with Bluetooth connectivity. This radio can run off both battery power or plug into an outlet for continuous play. With AM/FM radio, Bluetooth compatibility, and a USB charging port, it’s perfect for keeping you entertained while working on-site.
Makita Takes the Lead with Powerful New Tools
Makita launched two exciting tools this week. The 40V Max XGT brushless circular saw packs a punch with its 10¼-inch blade, delivering 4000 RPM. It’s lightweight yet powerful and features Makita’s auto start wireless system for dust extractors. The saw is built to handle tough jobs with ease and is available now for $439.
But wait, there’s more! Makita also introduced their 80V Max XGT demolition hammer. Weighing in at 28 pounds, this heavy-duty tool has 20.2 foot-pounds of impact energy and is perfect for breaking up concrete with ease. The vibration control and dust-extracting features make this tool both efficient and comfortable to use.
