I walked into the office this morning and noticed a big pallet of the new Milwaukee Gen 3 Hammer and 1/4″ Impacts 2853-22CT. We wanted to take a quick look at all the GEN 3 drills and impacts as well as the handful of new M18 Combo Kits which now include these 3, 5, 7 piece kits!
You may have already seen these in all the Milwaukee NPS18 hoopla but here is more infor on each just in case you’ve missed them.
This is the 3rd generation of the FUEL brushless impact driver. Going for the smallest (4.6″), most powerful cordless impact driver ever with 2000 in lbs torque. With 4 speed settings and 1 being self-tapping screw mode these tools offer a lot of flexibility.

Hard to believe this is the 3rd generation of FUEL brushless power for Drills and Hammer Drills from Milwaukee. New motors produce 1200 in-lbs (same as GEN 2) but are more compact/lighter with improved efficiency. Chuck has been improved and LED shines from the base for better illumination.
