New Tools Unveiled at World of Concrete 2023 – Part 1

Milwaukee’s MX Fuel Line Expansion
Milwaukee kicked off the show with an impressive lineup of new tools, including the MX Fuel 20-inch plate compactor. This tool not only outperforms gas models in its class but also features a reverse function, making it the first plate compactor with this capability. Plus, the compactor is powered by Milwaukee’s new HD 12V battery, offering over 30 minutes of runtime on a single charge.
But that’s not all. Milwaukee also introduced new batteries that double the capacity and runtime while improving charging speeds. This upgrade ensures higher productivity and less downtime for users.
Bosch’s New Circular Saw
Bosch made a strong impression with their new ProFactor 18V circular saw. The saw features a 50-degree bevel range, a 2.625-inch depth of cut, and an LED cut-line light for improved visibility. Additionally, it comes with a 360-degree pivoting dust port, which helps manage dust even in the most challenging environments.
This saw is designed for professionals who need clean, efficient cuts in a variety of conditions, making it a solid addition to any tool collection.
DeWalt’s Demolition Hammers
DeWalt also had some exciting news, unveiling their new demolition hammers. Their 966 series, a 38-pound corded version, and the SDS Max inline cordless tool are built for both power and comfort. Featuring wireless tool control, these tools can sync with dust extractors to improve jobsite cleanliness. With ergonomic designs and enhanced power, these hammers are perfect for tackling thick slabs and deep channels with ease.
Makita’s Powerful Chainsaw
Makita showcased their new XGT 18-inch rear-handle chainsaw. This chainsaw delivers incredible power and cutting capacity, able to cut through 12-inch dimensional lumber effortlessly. Makita’s XGT platform ensures this tool will work as hard as you do, making it a must-have for anyone who needs reliable cutting power.
Hilti’s Bandsaw Sneak Peek
Hilti also gave attendees a sneak peek at their upcoming wide-mouth dual-trigger bandsaw. Metabo’s W11 Series Angle Grinders
Metabo revealed their W11 series 18V angle grinders, available in both four-and-a-half and five-inch models. Additionally, Metabo has designed them with a dust control system that helps keep your workspace clean.
