Hey guys, I am Sarah. Every week I comb through hundreds of DIY videos preparing projects for our weekly Maker show, Maker Break. Along the way, I find some good projects… and some GREAT ones, And right now, I’m going to share them with you! This is Sarah’s Top 5 DIY Plywood Projects, let’s go!
#5 is DIY Huntress
Let’s get this started with some good old organization, because let’s be honest, we could all use some better organization in our lives ammairte? Sam wanted just that, a little more organization in her workspace and made a peg board with adjustable shelves and customization details that are both functional and pretty to look at.
#4 is Brothers Make
Matt and Johnny normally make their projects together, but this time Matt was left to build on his own. He made a fun looking side table with layers and layers of plywood. I love how this project turned out. He was even nice enough to share it with his brother when he got back. I wouldn’t have done that.
#3 is Izzy Swan
By now you have stumbled upon, or have invested weeks of your life devouring all things Izzy Swan content. It doesn’t matter which of the two you are, you’ve probably come to the realization that he is one of the most creative and inventive builders on YouTube. It blows my mind sometimes what he can create out of plywood. Sometimes, it’s an all inclusive, foldable, portable table for two!
#2 is Crafted Workshop
Johnny is one of those makers that walks you through every step of his builds and makes you feel like you are in the shop next to him, and he explains things in a way that you could easily follow along and make one of your own. In this video, he made a simple entertainment stand with fun colored accents for the doors
#1 is Home Made Modern
Ben tackled a challenge thrown out by Rockler to make a bent wood project! Bending wood for your build opens the door to a lot of creativity and unique design to whatever you are building and this project from Ben is no different! He designed this fun looking chair that oddly looks like it would be really comfortable to sit in! I want one!
Have you seen a woodworking project that should have been on my list? Leave a link in the comments below and I’ll be sure to check it out. And don’t forget to join Rob and Me every Friday for Maker Break! I’ll see ya then!
