Just announced at STAFDA last month we got a first look at the new Southwire Maxis XD1 Circuit Puller with 600 lbs pull / 1000 lbs peak pull force with ultra-portability. Shown with the Milwaukee M18 Hammer Drill 2804-22 ($299) NOT INCLUDED but works with about any professional 18V drill from Dewalt, Makita, Metabo, Bosch or any other pro brand. Price on this is around $1500 and will be available very soon, really the first of its kind and we think for some may be a very nice solution.

Southwire XD1 Puller

Partnered this with a 1/8” 300’ line like the Southwire QWIKrope SPR183 ($142) with an 1100 lbs rating and performs much better than standard rope (see video below) now you’ve got the most compact portable pulling solution we know about.

To extend the length on this unit simply use 1” conduit and it’ll reach any height you want (see video below). This is intended to be an additional option to the Southwire Maxis carts 3000 & 6000 lbs pullers M3K ($2815 w/Milwaukee Motor) and M6K ($4527 w/Milwaukee Motor) intended for longer runs and larger pulls.
