Milwaukee’s New M12 Specter 360 Inspection Camera
Milwaukee is kicking things off with a tool that will make inspections easier than ever. The new M12 Specter 360 Inspection Camera (2324-21) (2323-21) is perfect for tight spaces, offering a 4.3-inch LCD screen and a 10mm camera head that fits through a 3/8-inch hole in drywall. You can easily capture images and videos (though no audio) and rotate the image digitally with the push of a button to keep your view straight. This camera is ideal for drain applications and peeking behind walls. The M12 Specter will be available in April, with a 4-foot model priced at $229 and a 10-foot model for $259.
Milwaukee’s Plus Sledge Floor Scraper
But Milwaukee wasn’t done yet! They also unveiled the new Plus Sledge Floor Scraper (48-62-1914). This heavy-duty scraper is designed for faster floor removal with 20% less force required to remove materials. This beast is expected to launch this spring, but its exact pricing is still a mystery. We can’t wait to get our hands on it!
DeWALT’s New Drills with More Power and Precision
DeWalt’s new additions include two drills designed for maximum performance. The 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless 1/2″ Drill/Driver (DW-DCD800B) and the 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless 1/2″ Hammer Drill/Driver (DW-DCD805B) are engineered for precision, with a two-speed transmission and a metal ratcheting chuck. The DCD800B is 2 inches shorter than its predecessor and delivers 16% more power. Meanwhile, the DCD805B boasts a hammer mode for masonry drilling and is one inch shorter than the 778. Both drills are powerful, delivering 404-unit watts out and a no-load speed of 1650 RPM. The 800B drill will be available for $159, while the 798 Hammer Drill will cost $179.
Makita’s New 40V Max XGT Lawn Mower and LED Light
Makita is focusing on outdoor tools this time, with the announcement of a 40V Max XGT Commercial Lawn Mower. The GML01 features a brushless motor that delivers 2,800 RPM, with a quiet mode for reduced noise. This self-propelled lawn mower also includes a dual battery system, letting you cut up to 1.25 acres on a single charge. You can pre-order this mower for $940.
They’re also releasing a new 40V Max XGT Cordless LED Area Light. This powerful light has three brightness settings and a 360-degree light spread. The best part? You can daisy-chain up to eight lights for even more coverage! It will ship in May for $699.
Bosch’s 18V Impact Wrench and Circular Saw
Bosch made a splash this week with their new GDS18V-330PCN 18V Brushless Impact Wrench (GDS18V-330PCN), offering 330 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 590 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. The wrench features a friction ring and an auto bolt release mode to prevent dropped fasteners. This tool will be available for $229.09.
They also announced the GKS18V-26LN, a new 18V 7-1/4″Circular Saw with a blade left design (GKS18V-26LN), ideal for right-handed users. With a 5000 RPM motor, it’s perfect for a variety of cutting tasks and will retail for $229.00.
Metabo’s High-Powered LED Job Site Lights
Robillard from Metabo tested out their new high-powered LED job site lights, and the results were impressive. These lights are durable and incredibly bright, with several options for different lighting needs. Rob’s only complaint? The runtime could be better, and the magnets could be stronger. But if you’re looking to brighten up your work area, these lights are worth checking out.
