Ryobi’s New 10-Inch Random Orbit Buffer

Ryobi just announced a 10-inch variable speed random orbit buffer. Perfect for polishing and buffing large surfaces like cars, trucks, SUVs, and boats, this tool can run for up to 2.5 hours on a single charge. The buffer offers variable speed settings ranging from 2,000 to 3,600 OPM. You can grab the bare tool for $59.97 or the full kit (including a 4Ah battery) for $109.97, available in June.

DeWalt’s Tough Series Lighted Tape Measure

DeWalt has launched a Tough Series lighted tape measure (DW-DWHT35625S). This durable tape can survive a 100-foot drop and features an LED light to help with visibility in dark areas. It also offers a 17-foot reach, double-sided print, and a 60-second auto shutoff to conserve battery life. You can pick it up for just $31.59.

Skil’s Multi-Volt Fans: 7-Inch & Clamp Versions

Skil’s got two new fans in their lineup that will keep you cool on the job. The Multi-Volt Brushless 7-Inch Fan can run on both 12V and 20V batteries, providing up to 500 CFM of airflow. It offers up to 3 hours of runtime on high with a 20V battery. The 4-Inch Clamp Fan is perfect for tight spaces, providing up to 200 CFM and running up to 14 hours on low with a 20V 2Ah battery. The 7-inch fan is $59, while the clamp fan is just $29.

DeWalt’s New Tool Storage Lineup

DeWalt also launched a new range of tool bags, backpacks, and rigs. Notably, the 16-Inch Pro Open Mouth Tool Bag (DW-DWST560103) has 31 pockets and is made with durable polyester. It can hold up to 55 pounds of gear. They also introduced a Pro Backpack on Wheels, which features 46 pockets and a water-resistant compartment for your electronics. These bags are built tough and designed to handle everything you throw at them.

EGO’s Best String Trimmer of 2023

Clint from Tool Review Zone reviewed the best string trimmer for 2023, the EGO Power+ Power Load String Trimmer with Line IQ (EGO-STA1600). This 16-inch trimmer stands out with its automatic string loading system. Simply slide in the string, and it winds itself. Plus, it offers over 60 minutes of runtime on a 4Ah battery. If you’re looking to upgrade your string trimmer, the EGO Power+ is the way to go.

Grinder and Impact Tool Showdowns

If you enjoy a good tool battle, Torque Test Channel has you covered. They pitted several low-cost corded angle grinders against each other, including Milwaukee, Warrior, and even a decades-old Harbor Freight Drill Master. It’s an entertaining showdown, and you won’t believe which one comes out on top.

Meanwhile, Pro Tool Reviews tested the DeWalt DCF887 and the FLEX FX1371 impact wrenches. These models are designed to be the most powerful on the market, but the test went beyond just the specs. It’s a great comparison to help you decide which impact wrench fits your needs.
