NEW POWER TOOLS! Milwaukee, Bosch, FLEX, and more!

Hey, guys! Welcome back to another exciting episode of Belts and Boxes. Tonight, we’re live at Ohio Power Tool’s open house, where we’re checking out some of the latest and greatest in power tools. We’ve got new products from Bosch, Milwaukee, FLEX, and more! If you’re a fan of top-quality tools, you’re in for a treat. Let’s dive right in!

FLEX Power Tools – The New Wave 3 Tools

First up, we’re kicking things off with FLEX Power Tools. Chris Metcalf from FLEX gave us an inside look at their brand-new Wave 3 tools, and I have to say, they really blew us away.

  • Inspection Light: This versatile light is perfect for anyone who needs a reliable work light. It offers three different settings and can move in all directions, making it incredibly handy for tight spots.
  • Anti-Vibration Tools: One thing that really sets FLEX apart is their emphasis on minimizing vibrations. You can feel the difference as soon as you pick up the tool. It’s a huge plus for anyone who uses power tools for extended periods.
  • Palm Sander: FLEX’s new palm sander is equipped with brushless technology, three speed settings, and even a turbo button for extra power. On top of that, it has a built-in filter, so it keeps your workspace cleaner than most sanders.
  • Trim Router: This trim router is designed for precision, featuring adjustable settings that make it ideal for fine edging and detailed work.
  • Plumbing Tools: Additionally, FLEX has some heavy-duty plumbing tools, including a massive hog drill that’s perfect for tough jobs. Whether you’re drilling at an angle or need to tackle large tasks, these tools get the job done.

And here’s some great news: FLEX is offering a lifetime warranty on many of their products until the end of the year, so it’s a perfect time to try them out!

Bosch Power Tools – The Drywall Screw Gun Revolution

Next, we made our way to the Bosch Power Tools booth, where our buddy Dominic shared some exciting updates. One of the standout tools was their Drywall Screw Gun.

  • Drywall Screw Gun: This tool features a brushless motor, an auto-feeder magazine, and a non-proprietary system that works with just about any screw strips. However, what really makes this tool shine is its Extend Drive feature. Unlike most screw guns, it only powers the bit when you apply pressure, which saves battery life and reduces strain on your hand.
  • Efficiency: What’s more, Bosch claims their screw gun can drive up to 2,000 screws on a single 4Ah battery charge. So, if you’re working on a big job, this could be a major time-saver.

WIHA Impact Terminator Bits & Torque Control Tools

We also got a chance to check out some of WIHA’s new products, and they did not disappoint.

  • Impact Terminator Blue Bits: WIHA’s Impact Terminator Blue Bits are designed with a special torsion zone that helps absorb shocks, preventing breakage when working with tough materials. This feature is a game-changer for anyone who uses impact drivers regularly.
  • Torque Control Tools: If precision is key for you, then WIHA’s torque control tools are worth looking into. These tools let you set a specific amount of force, helping prevent over-tightening and potential damage. Whether you’re working in inch-pounds or Newton-meters, there’s a torque tool to match your needs.

Milwaukee MX Fuel – The Future of Concrete Tools

Last but certainly not least, we stopped by the Milwaukee booth, where they showed us their expanding MX Fuel line.

  • MX Fuel Green Concrete Saw: This new saw delivers gas-like performance without the hassle of using gas. It can cut up to 1.5 inches deep into concrete, and on a single charge, you can cut up to 160 linear feet. That’s impressive, right? It’s definitely a game-changer for anyone working with concrete regularly.
  • MX Fuel Trowels: The MX Fuel trowels are another highlight. These trowels offer up to five horsepower performance, all with less vibration and noise. They run on the new 12Ah battery, which provides up to 35 minutes of full-throttle runtime. So, if you’re doing a big concrete job, this tool will definitely make your life easier.
  • MX Fuel Core Drill: The most exciting tool we saw was the MX Fuel Core Drill. It’s the first cordless core drill capable of drilling up to 14-inch holes in reinforced concrete. Thanks to the 8Ah battery, it can drill multiple holes through 6-inch slabs without breaking a sweat.

Conclusion: Big Tools, Big Performance

Overall, the Ohio Power Tool Open House was an absolute blast. From FLEX’s Wave 3 lineup to Milwaukee’s MX Fuel innovations, it’s clear that power tool technology is advancing faster than ever. So, if you’re looking to upgrade your gear or just see what’s new in the world of tools, now’s the time to check out some of these exciting products.
