The Milwaukee PIPELINE event has started, and we just watched them announce the ALL NEW Milwaukee M18 FUEL Multi-Tool, and we’ve got some details and additional photos to show off.
THIS is the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Multi-Tool. Like it’s newly announced little brother, the M12 FUEL Multi-Tool, it’s the FUEL in the name that matters. That titles brings their POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, REDLITHIUM Battery Pack and REDLINK plus Intelligence Hardware and Software, which makes it all work together.
That new motor brings together an aggressive 4.2 degree oscillation angle and 10,000 to 20,000 OPM, which Milwaukee says will deliver the fastest cut speed in the industry. Sure it will handle rip cuts through hardwoods, nail embedded wood, and more, but don’t mistake this for some multi tool for hobbyist, this is a demolition tool. If something is in your way, the M18 FUEL Multi-Tool can likely clear it out.
The 10 Step variable speed dial with an auto load feature, will make it easy to adjust the speed to your current application. It also sports a 180 degree led work light making sure you see exactly what this beast is bursting through.
Finally, the whole tool was engineered specifically to dampen the natural vibration that an oscillating tool creates. So your hands stay comfortable for the bigger jobs.
The M18 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool is 12.2” long, 3.9” high, and weighs in at 4.2lbs with a battery. Of course Milwaukee is so confident in it’s newest toy that they include a 3 year battery and 5 year tool warranty.
