Continuing our coverage of Milwaukee’s 2019 NPS let’s look at the expanded line of PPE safety gear including new hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility safety vests, respirators, hearing protection, more tool lanyards, and cut resistant glove expansion. Check out our videos from the NPS and information below.

Milwaukee realized the world of hard hats hadn’t changed very much over the last 100 years, and they wanted to take their hard hat line to the next level and that’s exactly what they did. Aside from being a practical piece of your work uniform Milwaukee thought this item can be outfitted with accessory slots, 6 to be exact, to make your hard hat both versatile and completely customized. Welcome to the beginning of the future of hard hats with the Milwaukee BOLT Hard Hat line.

Safety meets style with Milwaukee’s new line of glasses including 3 families of glasses each in clear or polarized tinted models. These all feature a removable gasket which can be snapped in to protect your eyes from debris. Check out these military-grade lenses taking a BB at 600 ft/sec without cracking to deliver a high level of protecting. Not to mention they impeccable anti-fog and anti-scratch technology.

These 600D tear-resistant reinforced vests are where durability and practicality meet. The 15 pockets including a clear ID pocket and rear zippered tablet pocket project these high-vis safety vests into the 21st century. Safety is a major focus here, and Milwaukee has delivered with a slot in the back for access to fall protection harnesses, so no more cutting holes in your vests. The comfortable padded collar allows for all day wear, available in both yellow and orange, and, like the BOLT Hard Hats, can be customized (screen printed) with your company’s logo.

Milwaukee introduces new Respirators with and without gaskets that allow users to stay cool. Both feature valves that reduce heat inside by 10°F and have soft adjustable straps and nose bridges for a comfortable fit. The Valved Respirator with Gasket features a tight-sealing gasket for a more premium seal and better airflow. Protect yourself, and your employees, from jobsite carcinogens and harmful air pollutants.

Milwaukee introduces hearing protection that offers users all day comfort. Available are Corded Ear Plugs and regular Ear Plugs. The corded options are made of soft silicone, while the non-corded are made of soft comfortable foam. Both versions are designed with a tapered shape for a better fit. The Corded Ear Plugs are rated to an NRR of 26dB, and the regular Ear Plugs are rated to an NRR of 32dB.

Milwaukee expands its line of Locking Tool Lanyards to include double length lanyards that are 2X the length of their current 36” locking tool lanyards. Offered in 10lbs, 15lbs, and 35lbs these lanyards are designed to help users stay safe and productive while working at height. These tool lanyards offer the best shock absorption, double locking 360° carabiners, and unique color coding to help users stay productive on the job.

Milwaukee expands its line of gloves to now include more cut-resistant and winter gloves, as well as new lines of leather and impact-rated gloves. With these additions, they will offer a full line of hand protection that provides best-in-class comfort, dexterity, and durability for a variety of jobsite applications.
