This morning, a fan tipped us off to this new video posted by Milwaukee Tool EU, promoting their carpentry greatness, when suddenly, a wild m18 track saw appears. Calm down boys… it’s not exactly what it appears.
After jumping up and down with excitement in our studios, some of us crying. We called Milwaukee to find out exactly what this is, and as it turns out, it’s a track they’ve offered in EU for years, and they’re just showing off a new base plate for their M18 saw, making it track compatible.
So while this isn’t the groundbreaking announcement we were hoping for, it does speak to one thing. Milwaukee is making new track accessories… so maybe… just maybe… we’ll see that legendary track saw after all. Let’s be honest here. A proper plunging track saw is THE most requested milwaukee tool, ever.
By a large margin if you’re just reading our comment section. So there is NO WAY Milwaukee won’t offer a proper track saw… but unfortunately, we still have no idea when that will happen.
So as more people find the Milwaukee EU video, and start sharing this clip, you’ll be able to say “Nope, not the M18 Tracksaw. I know, because I watch Belts and Boxes.”
