A few hours ago, the Netherlands Festool Youtube account (youtube.com/FestoolNederland) posted a shot 20 second video featuring a small group of Festool employees preparing for a major Construction Fair, by using what looks like a Festsool Table Saw with Sawstop Safety technology, Hotdog test and all…
The description, as translated by Google, is as follows:
Our trainers are currently preparing for the Construction Fair so that they can answer any questions about the innovative SawStop technology. Experience the machine live at the construction fair from 4 to 8 February. Request your tickets here for free and win a KAPEX KS60 of € 774
The show they’re referring to is the BouwBeurs Construction Fair, that largest and most complete trade fair for executive construction, according to their website. The Fair is a bi-annual show that covers all facets of the construction industry.
This is the first time we’ve seen the Sawstop technology in a Festool tool since they were acquired by TTS (Festool’s parent company) back in 2017.
The video leaves us with more questions than answers at this point. We reached out to Festool for comment and will update this article with any new information we acquire.
