Dewalt Flexvolt Concrete Saw

We of course stopped by the yellow booth at World of Concrete and they had a lot to show off this year. Dewalt is really going after the concrete market with several new products aimed at silica dust collection as well as expanding their Flexvolt cordless offering with some heavy duty tools that can now outperform their corded counter parts.

One of the tools we came to the WOC show to actually try out was the Dewalt Flexvolt 9” Concrete Saw DCS690, we first got a look at it last November at the STAFDA show however they would not let us fire it up inside the clean convention hall. Very impressive unit for going cordless, add one of those backpack water tanks and you could be very dangerous.

The Dewalt Flexvolt SDS-MAX DCH481X2 launched in 2017 but was a big hit for the show and the first time many people had a chance to use this cordless SDS-MAX option.

Another one of the Dewalt Flexvolt tools that launched in 2017 but that many people we just trying for the first time at the show was the 7-1/4” circular saw DCS577 a “WormDrive Style” saw. While a true worm drive gear system is just too power hungry for practical use in a cordless saw we have found this saw to be very powerful, right there with any corded options.

Some additional Dewalt videos below as we made the way around the booth! There were even more tools and accessories we missed but will follow up soon with some more in-depth product posts!
