Guys, as of today, we are only 7 days away from going LIVE at the Milwaukee PIPELINE event, so you’d think Milwaukee was too busy preparing for that, to start showing off new tools. But nope. They just announced another M12 tool that they say can do the job of an M18. Let’s go.

This is the all new M12 FUEL 16 gauge Variable Speed Nibbler. It aims to deliver fast, clean cuts in 16 gauge mild steel and even 22 gauge spiral duct seams, while remaining super small and portable. The little guy can cut up to 7 feet per minute. For comparison, I grabbed some cheap scissors and timed myself cutting through wrapping paper, but I got bored after only 2ft. So let’s just assume that fast.

The Nibbler features a variable speed dial, LED Work Light, and a tool-free 360 degree die holder rotation. The chip collection bag comes iwth the nibbler and can be attached to the die holder for collecting metal punches. You can purchase a die holder extention separately, that would allow you to easily go over deeper currugated valleys withtou the back of hte tool restricting the cut.

Coming in at 10.7” and only 3.5lbs, portability is a pretty big focus here. So if you’re tired of cutting at a wrapping paper pace, I know I am, you can pick up the new Milwaukee M12 FUEL 16 gauge variable speed nibbler bare for $229, in August of this year.
