The segmented & turbo diamond saw blades are very popular for use on smaller grinders and can be used dry or wet. If you want to add another full size dock door in a cinder block building this small tool is the preferred choice of many. Bricks, pavers, blocks, stone etc these diamond wheels can cut it with a powerful enough grinder. The Continuous blades are more common for tile, granite & marble use in wet saw applications (although good wet or dry). These blades make a much smoother precision finish cut.
