Milwaukee just launched 2 very… unusual tools. We just covered the M18 Vibrator in another video, but in this one we need to talk about this insane MX Vibratory Screed. It’s awesome to see new MX tools, even if it’s this super weird tool. Let’s go.

If you’re not familiar with concrete tools, a screed is a wide flat tool that vibrates the concrete to level it all out. As you can imagine, dragging a 16ft bar across concrete would take a lot of power, which is why this is showing up on the MX platform. The MX FUEL Vibratory Screed can pull up to a 16ft bar and consolidate up to 6” of concrete. When using a 12’ bar, and a single MX FUEL REDLITHIUM CP203 battery, you can cover up to 10,000 square feet of concrete on a single charge. There are 7 different screed bars available running from 4 to 16ft.

Constructed from lightweight magnesium, the extra-rigid, double triangle design transmits consistent vibrations across the entire length of the bar. Utilizing a clamp design, Milwaukee’s Screed Bar allows users to quickly attach the bar at any point on the machine.

And of course because it’s on the MX Battery platform, you no longer need to deal with the repetitive motion of pull starts, no need to mix gas and oil, it produces less noise and vibration, and of course has zero emissions.

And thanks to ONE-KEY Integration, you can track, manage, and secure the screen from your mobile device.

If this is the screed you’ve been waiting for, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Vibratory Screen will be available in early 2022 at a price of $2,499.
