Where are the new Milwaukee tools? The silence from southeastern Wisconsin has been defining. Maybe Milwaukee is planning an NPS after all? Maybe they’ll OH WAIT! Milwaukee just announced 3 new tools this morning! Because it’s May 10th… I guess. Who cares! Let’s go!
I’m gonna warn you ahead of time, but these are 3 pretty odd tools. None of them are lawnmowers or track saws, but they’re going to be important to many of you. Let’s start with this. THIS is the new Milwaukee 7 in 1 Conduit Reaming Screwdriver.
This guy aims to provide electricians with reaming capability for ½ to 1” conduit and features a Milwaukee ECX bit for electrical fasteners. It comes with 4 bits and two nut drivers, perfect for driving specialty screws commonly found in electrical applications.
It also has a swiveling lanyard hole making it tether-ready and a cushion grip with anti-peel design, because peeling sucks. You can pick one up this June 2021 for $39.99, with replacement blade sets for $9.99 and a bit set for $9.99 as well.
Next up we have the most efficient measuring wheel on the market. At least that’s what Milwukee tells us. This is the new Milwaukee 12” Digital Measuring Wheel. It’s designed with handle-mounted buttons and a digital display, all laid out for one handed use, mainly because you’d look like an idiot trying to push one of these things with two hands.
The digital interface is highly intuitive, making it easy to save and store up to four measurements. The backlit screen is ip54 rated for dust and water protection, and the frame telescopes to multiple heights making it more ergonomic, and easier to store as well. Oddly enough, it’s powered by two AAA batteries, which feels like a missed opportunity to us. Why not make it run on Red Lithium USB??
You can get your hands on the new 12” Digital Measuring wheel in June for $79.99.
Last of all, Milwaukee announced an upgraded CHEATER pipe wrench. This is the Milwaukee CHEATER aluminum adaptable pipe wrench. This guy is meant to get into tight spaces, but able to extend it’s length up to 24” for maximum torque. The original cheater was launched back in 2016, and came with two interchangeable handles. But this time, it’s made with Aluminum, making it light enough to carry around, and thanks to its new telescoping handle, there’s no need to carry around different sizes. Just adjust it to 11” for tight spaces, 18” for general purpose, and 24” for maximum leverage.
It’s equipped with an OVERBITE jaw, giving it a huge 2 ½” capacity, matching a traditional 18” pipe wrench. And of course it has a tether-ready lanyard hole, handy for when you’re using this thing up high.
You can pick up the new Milwaukee CHEATER Aluminum Adaptable Pipe Wrench this June for $119.99.
